  • Anti-Bullying Week at Hazelbury

Hazelbury learnt how to prevent bullying and ensure the choices that they make are positive.

Over the last week we have been thinking about how we prevent and deal with bullying as part of national Anti-Bullying week.

The whole school participated in special assemblies where we discussed what bullying was.

During our anti-bullying assemblies, we had a guest speaker, Silas, who is a rapper. He told us about the emotional effects of bullying and how to prevent it.

PC Doris also came in to speak to Year 5 and 6 about gang prevention. We learnt that you should always tell an adult if you feel pressured by others to take part in something that you do not want. We learnt that that the decisions that we make now shape our futures.
