  • Enfield's Primary Public Speaking Competition

Our two Year Six children were fantastic when they participated in the local public speaking compeition!

On Tuesday 1st November I was invited to the semi-final of Enfield’s Primary Public Speaking Competition at Millfield House. Previously I had exciting training at St Michael’s Primary School to help me prepare for the event. During my training I learnt to confidently speak in front of an audience. We were allowed to speak about anything that interested us, I picked art as it is my favourite hobby. I was nervous for the semi-finals, but luckily I made it to the finals, which I am ecstatic about!

    Khadijah – Saturn

Enfield’s Primary Public Speaking Competition was a very exciting experience for me. At the beginning I was very nervous but at the semi-final I had overcome my fear of speaking in front an audience. I spoke about the environment and how we need to look after it and help prevent polluting it. Unfortunately, I did not get through to the final but I was very proud of Khadijah for getting through and proud of myself for getting that far. I look forward to watching the final!
