Before the Easter break, all Year 5 pupils enjoyed workshops from Equilteach. This included small group activities and whole group discussion to explore stereotyping, as well as where they get their information from and how opinions are formed. The children looked at how information in the media, online or from family and friends can sometimes be exaggerated, biased or false, as well as how to think critically about the information they receive, to build resilience to approaches from negative groups. The children benefited immensely from the sessions and enjoyed exploring these important issues.
