    Our latest Hazelbury sports news!

On Tuesday 6th March, Handel and Mozart class made the short trip over to Latymer School and took part in sports activities organized by Year 10 students as part of their GCSE PE. The children really enjoyed the day and we’re looking forward to other children having this opportunity later in the year.

Also this week, the girls football team played their last two league fixtures. They needed one point from their last two games to win the league and they managed to retain the title! Its been a much more competitive league this year and the girls have done really well to retain the title for another year! Well done- what a fantastic team!

On Thursday 8th March the Hazelbury tag rugby team played their final cluster league matches of the year. Unfortunately we missed out on the top spot narrowly by a single point but the team have still qualified for the finals next Friday 16th March. Well done everyone!

For the past fortnight we have had some of our Year 5 pupils take on the role as ‘Gamesmakers’ in the playground. At lunchtimes their job is to arrange games for Year 3 children to participate in. They’re doing a great job so far, the children are really enjoying it!
