Year Three children appreciate different faiths and cultures with a trip to a Hindu temple.
This term Year 3 have visited Bhaktivedanta Manor - Hare Krishna Temple to consolidate their learning on Hinduism. The class had an amazing day learning about the Hindu principles and the Gods and Goddesses. Children had the opportunity to dress up in traditional Hindu outfits and the classes visited the Shrine within the grounds of the Temple. The children also went on a cart that was pulled by a cow as well as having the opportunity to feed the cows, as these are sacred animals for Hindu people.
