At Hazelbury, oracy is at the heart of everything we do. Children have the opportunity to explore learning and develop and shape their ideas through talk. Our dialogic classrooms have a 'Can we just talk' element in every lesson, ensuring children have the opportunity to learn from each other. 

Children use their Talk Tactics and Speak like a Specialist cards to support them to structure their thoughts and build and challenge on others' ideas in all lessons.

They apply these in all areas of school life, especially in our oracy assemblies.
