Year Five Children visit a place of worship to enhance their understanding of different faiths.
Year Five have visited Nanak Darbar, a North London Sikh temple as part of their learning about different faiths and religions this half term. Whilst at Hazelbury, pupils visit a different place of worship each year in order to build a good understanding of different religions. This enables children to be educated in being tolerant and understanding of the beliefs of others, a vital skill in today’s diverse society.
